Sophia Webster Launches Barbie Collection

Tomorrow Sophia Webster will launch a new collection in collaboration with Barbie. 

They will also available at Selfridges. The shoe designer will launch a shoe collection for young and old. 

There are sneakers, slip-ons and heels in this Barbie shoe collection. There will be even shoes for all the little Barbies out their. 

"It's always been a dream of me to design for Barbie", says Sophia Webster to Britisch Vogue. 

'But it's very special that I may design flat shoes for her. It strikes a balance between dreams and reality'.

 Only a couple a months ago Mattel released flat shoes for Barbie.

I really really like this collection. 

Since I'm the proud owner of a Moschino Barbie clutch, I think I might do some splurge on a pair of Barbie shoes from Sophia Webster. 

Then they can match perfectly with my Moschino Barbie clutch.

New brand: Flossy

A couple of months ago I decided to throw all my heels away. 

I was so sick of them, because I looked like a giant if I where them. I'm already 180 cm so that desicon was really quick made (but secretly I kept 4 pairs). 

I already had a lot of flats, sneakers and loafers. 

During the Press Days in Antwerp I discoverd a new brand: Flossy. 

It's a Spanish brand from the Rioja area. 

The shoes where originally worn by bohemians, artists and sailors. But the brand made fame in Ibizia and became quickly a part of the clubbing scene. 

So Flossy continued to grow and it's not longer only a Mediterranean shoe craze. 

Shoes are already available from 30 euros.

Flossy collaborated with blogger Audrey Rogers from Frassy. She designed the Frassy Pineapple Plimsoll. Which I really love.

From New York to Japan, you can now find Flossy everywhere.

Wonder Woman

DC Comics and Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars have teamed up for a third collaboration with our favourite action heroes from the 80's. First in 2011 they made some Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars called 'Heroes pack', the second one they added the Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars with Batman, The Joker, Superman, The Flash and The Joker.
Now they've added Wonder Woman and Killer Croc to the collection.

When I saw these from Wonder Woman on the internet I was immediately hooked. I'm a sort of Wonder Woman, so they where definitley made for me. When the package arrived, I was so curious about them, how they looked liked. Quite surprisingly they came with another pair of laces in the color yellow. So I decided to change the white laces into the yellow laces, which are fantastic!

Jeffrey Campbell Garret Pump and Marc by Marc Jacobs Studded Mouse Flats

When I saw both of these shoes, I fell immediately in love. The first I saw on the Internet, where these Marc by Marc Jacobs studded mouse flat on My Wardrobe. Immediately I fell in love with them. Because there special with the studs on it (I also have plastic Marc by Marc Jacobs flats. The post about them, you can find here).

The second pair are from Jeffrey Campbell. Who is know for his famous 'Lita' and 'Tick' shoes. I first discovered them at ShoeperWoman, a site which is made by a shoe addict called Amber. I really love bows, so they were perfect for me. They're really an eyecatcher. The shoe box is a cross word puzzel which you fill in with words what are related to shoes :) In the box you find the solution, which says 'no peeking' :)
