New: Sophia Webster x Barbie Slip-On Sneaker

When Sophia Webster launched her collaboration with Barbie, I was immediately hooked.
I really loved the whole collection, but I know you can't have it all.
Especially Sophia Webster's shoes, because their a little bit more expensive than other shoes from high street retailers.
So I picked one pair out to buy and that where the slip-on sneaker.

The slip-on have some really nice details. So when the shoes arrived and I opened the box, I was really enthusiastic.
In the front there all B's on the nose from the slip-on.
Around the nose from the slip-on you can find a fluo orange binding which make the slip ons very stand out.
The nose is also from a stretchy plastic, instead of cotton. So you can also wear them if it's starting to rain.
On the side they have placed silhouettes from the head of Barbie and it has a silver glitter back.
They felt very comfortable and where definitely an eye-catcher when I wore them.

What are your thoughts about these slip-ons?

MAC x Philip Treacy Spring 2015

On April 18 MAC will launches a collection with Philip Treacy. He is known for his famous hats on the heads of Lady Gaga, Princess Beatrice, Madonna and many more.
Philip Treacy's designs are all about feminine, dramatic flair, etc...
Philip Treacy pulled inspiration from his work to create a trio of sensational hats to showcase the structure of the face.
Paired with each hat, a collection of products that enhances the face’s most evocative features.

The starting point for the collaboration are his designs.
‘We went to our archives with the Mac team and I selected pieces that did something for me.’

The collection is broken into three themes: ‘A kind of futuristic Hollywood, one is all about colour and the other is a kind of Gothic, modern future’. ‘I worked with Mac for about 20 years and they’ve always sponsored my catwalk shows.
MAC asked me if he be interested in a project with them and was immediately in for it.
Philip Treacy gets it. He understands that make-up is important: ‘You can transform yourself with beautiful make-up.
It is an enhancer; people buy a lipstick to cheer themselves up. It’s about having fun with what you’ve got’.

The collection includes lipsticks, pro longwear paint pots, high-light powder, fluidlines and more.
The collection will be available in April in selected MAC stores.
