Primark Summer 2015

.A couple of days ago Summer 2015 has started. Everyone is going to festival all around the world.

 Going out for a drink in pop-up bars, where you can have the best cocktails, served by hot bartenders. People are going on holiday. 

They are laying on the beach or going for a swim in the pool or the sea and visited all these beautiful cities where we never had been before.

I'm not going to a sunny country, but instead I'm going to Amsterdam. 

I've never been there before, so it's going to be really interesting. Unfortunately there is still no Primark in Amsterdam (it will open at the end of 2015). 

But instead I can buy already the summer clothes in Hasselt which is only 20 minutes away from my home.

The theme for the new Primark summer campaign is 'The Land of Summer'. It's seperated in two themes: Desert Dreamer and Ibizia Surf. 

Desert Dreamer is a collection with inspiration from the seventies: long dresses, rich patterns and textures. 

Ibizia Summer is inspired by bright colors, tropical prints, oversized hats and batik prints.

My favourites are the oversized floppy hat, the black fringed skirt, 

the white shirt with open shoulders, the white lace shorts, the beige shorts and the gorgeous black playsuit with lace wings.

Event: Opening Primark Hasselt

Yesterday I went to the opening from the Primark in Hasselt. It's the first store in Flanders and the third chain store in Belgium. 

On 4000 m² and 3 floors you can find there clothes, accessories and shoes for woman, men, children and products for your home. 

The Primark slogan: 'Amazing fashion, Amazing prices' means that you can find trendy clothing and accessories for affordable prices.

On 12th August there will be a fourth opening at Ghent.

Exhibition: Hello, My Name is Paul Smith

On Tuesday I visited the exhibition Hello, My Name is Paul Smith at the Fashion Museum in Hasselt.

I also went to the opening where I met Paul Smith (see picture below).
He is really a nice guy. So if you get the chance to meet him, take your chance. 

The exhibition centers about his personals ideas. There are not that much clothes to see and I think this is a plus for this exhibition.
He started his career on under influence from his wife Pauline and they're still together.
You can see his shop from 3 by 3 meters, where his design team works, behind-the scenes from a runway show, his collaborations with brands, his workroom and a lot more.

This exhibition is bigger than in London (400 m²).
After Hasselt the exhibition will be expand to Singapore and Tokyo.
You can see the exhibition until the 7th of June in the Fashion Museum in Hasselt.
