Event: MAC x The Simpsons

 

When I heard that MAC will collaborate with The Simpsons I couldn't believe it.
I'm a huge fan of The Simpsons. I've watched all the seasons, 25 in total and I totally loved The Simpsons Movie.

It was also an event to see the renewed store from MAC in Antwerp. When they introduced the collection suddenly Marge Simpson appeared, which was really great.
They had drinks, little hotdogs, donuts (which of course was fantastic) and more.

I took a few pictures and also bought some things from the MAC x The Simpsons collection.
Which I will show you later today, with a review and swatches.

 

Review + Swatches: MAC x Pedro Lourenço "Ruby" Lipstick

I'm a big sucker for red lipsticks and especially the red lipsticks from MAC.
Everytime when MAC launches a new collaboration or limited edition collection, I'm looking for a new red lipstick.

Pedro Lourenço is a Brazilian designer. His parents where also designers.
He started designing at the age of 12. He is inspired by Diana the huntress and also the architect Oscar Niemeyer. First he showed of course at São Paulo Fashion Week.
In 2010 he debuted at Paris Fashion Week. His first collection was critical praist for his clean, architectural lines.

For the collaboration with MAC he designed a clean and chique packaging.
I went for this "Ruby" lipstick. It is described as a "mid-tone blue red with an Amplified finish. It's a bright, medium red with very subtle blue undertones.

Tokidoki x Karl Lagerfeld Watch

When I saw this watch coming in my Facebook feed I really needed this watch. From the collaboration from last year, where you could buy dolls from Karl Lagerfeld himself, Tokidoki now introduced a watch. You may have already seen this watch in an outfitpost and on my Instagram.

The watch is designed with Karl Lagerfeld with Choupette, his cat, in his arms. On the band you can see a text that reads: "I Love Karl". Where Karl Lagerfeld is incorparetd in the heart. You can also see the head from Choupette and some diamonds on the band. 

In the back you can see that is a limited edition, because its got a serial number with Karl Lagerfeld his initals.

I also love the packaging where the watch is in stored. Decorated with Karl Lagerfelds head and "Karl Lagerfeld" in white letters on the side and the box where the watch is in stored has a big Karl Lagerfeld head on it and also "Karl Lagerfeld" written on the side.
