Opening Pop-up Stores A.F. Vandevorst & Christophe Coppens

Saturday when I was on holiday in Oostende, I went to the opening of the pop-up stores from A.F. Vandevorst en Christophe Coppens. Everybody was invited, so there was no guest list or anything else.

First I went to the pop-up store from A.F. Vandevorst. It was a mansion next to the casino from Knokke-Heist. You could take drink at the roof terrace or you could take look at the store on the grond floor. My parents and I didn't take a drink, but we payed a visit to the store. The store was decorated as a little church (You can see the pics below), which was really interesting.

Next stop was the designer market in the front of the sea, where they sold designer furniture from famous artists. They also sold clothes (Thierry Mugler, Chanel, Céline,...), bags (Chanel, YSL, Céline ...) and jewellery. But i didn't buy anything because it was still a little bit expensive.

Then we went to the pop-up store from Christophe Coppens, where they sold his own brand, Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik, Rupert Sanderson and also cosmetic from Bobbi Brown, Kiehl's, Laura Mercier, Diptyque and OPI.

When we arrived at the pop-up store I was welcomed by the men himself: Christophe Coppens. He is famous for designing hats and also made a hat for Rihanna and Lady Gaga. I was a little bit overwhelmed, because he came straight to me and welcomed and introduced me at his store. He also offered that we take a drink (Cointreaupoliton or another drink) as we have visited his store. I also took a picture with him and he's a very nice and friendly man. He really took the time to talk with me. I asked him if he met Rihanna in person for his design from her hat with the knife, but he said that the contact only strictly is between her stylists and him.

It was really a great opportunity to meet him and it's really a must visited place if you are in Knokke-Heist.

I was wearing Dorothy Perkins dress, Supertrash sandals, handmade necklace from Barcelona, watch from Guess, ring from H&M and Longchamp handbag.
